New Year, New Everything

Four more days of 2012 left, which means the usual reflecting on the year. Did I do everything I set out to to do? Did I try new things? Did I go to new places?...

Yes I tried new things. I tried freelancing which meant I got to work for different brands, industries (beauty and beer), and even got to dabble working agency side. I also realised I love grilled Halloumi cheese. See what happens when you try new things!

Did I go to new places? Well, no, but I did get to revisit some favourite places and experience them with new people.

Achieved life goal of owning a house - thanks mostly to the Husband who sorted it all out and made it happen. I did very little towards this so can't take any credit, but what's his is mine and vice versa right?

I also realised I can handle watching The Walking Dead without being too scared. Y'know the little things count too.

All in all 2012 was not bad. No complaints from me. Of course I'm a bit gutted that the lotto windfall managed to elude me again this year, but there's always next year.

Speaking of which... 2013 is a big year. I'm not just saying that, I mean it. Not only will it be a new year (obvs) it will be a whole new start for me and the Husbandman as we are moving to HONG KONG!

I feel like I don't have the brain space to think of any resolutions or trying to set goals of doing new stuff, as I think moving country is big enough to deal with.

What I cannot wait for is the adventure this will be. I'm sure there will be highs and lows, but it's all part of the fun.

All that's left for me to say is...

May your 2013 be filled with fun and exciting stuff both big and small, and may it be a year to remember!
